I'm working through Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil", and I came across this blurb that reminded me of Walter.

I stumbled across this game, Aquaria. It was developed by independent game developer Bit-blot, and it shows, in a good way. Check it out, and be sure to watch the video. (the magic looks especially nifty)
]]>If you have multiple fridges at your work, I recommend putting your loaf of bread in the freezer. You can easily toast the bread when lunchtime approaches. Also, you are no longer chained to the bread expiration date, as it will literally last forever.
So, when a co-worker brings in half of a "It's a boy" sheet cake, you can eat two pieces for your lunch.
As an aside, I haven't had rich food like this in a while. Sugary, I mean. The sugar rush hit such a climatic level in my system that the only words that came to mind were "A jedi feels the Force FLOW through him".
One more piece and I could have used chain lightening. But I didn't.
]]>I want to blog on here, but I'm finding myself loathing to sit down and write anything, even return emails to people.
It's been two weeks now. I'm hoping this passes. I'm sure it will. I have a pretty important email to write.
]]>I've been trying to sell my Scion xA for several months now. It's all paid off, and a great car, but I have my natural gas powered Crown Victoria, so I didn't see the need for both.
Needless to say, the gods have spoken, and I shall be keeping the Scion. I tried all sorts of different methods to get my car out there to prospective buyers, but NOTHING worked. I take that as a sign.
In a way, it probably makes the most sense. I want to move pretty soon here, and it will just be simpler to have a car that runs on the fuel of choice. This also means I can drive my car there, not have to ship it there, which saves $1500 right there. That also means my move will have a 3200 mile roadtrip tacked to the front of it. Roadtrip!
I'm thinking I'll probably just leave my Crown Victoria here when I move. My grandmom can use it when she visits, and when I visit I'll have wheels..
Behold! The neatest computer chair I've seen in a while. It's called the Trey Chair. It's a transformer, basically. The pictures say it all.

E - TextEditor is hailed as the "Power of Textmate on Windows". Being how I always covet Textmate when I see maiki working on his powerbook, I think this will be one of the few pieces of software I actually purchase this year.
They have a 30 day trial..
Idea... I'll try it out, and review it for protocol at the end of 30 days.
I found this via WWDn, it's a service called DailyLit. You pick the book(s) you want to read, and then you pick how often you want it delivered, and at what time. Obviously, the bigger the book is the more days it will take you to read it. Still, I like this for the things that read well in snippets and give you time to ponder them. (Nietzsche being a good example)
